Broadcast – The Nightmare of The Youtuber Written By Liam Brown And Published By Legend Press

With his popularity on the wane, celebrity blogger David Callow agrees to have a chip implanted in his mind that will enable his every moment to be beamed live around the world. As the impact of international intrusion begins to take effect, David discovers he is just the initial part of the MindCast creator’s terrifying plans.

These are the main events that move the plot of Broadcast, a novel written by Liam Brown and that Legend Press owned the rights from the Penguin Random House Australia (PRHA). The novel will be launched on 15th September

Incredibly topical and in line with recent dystopian hits such as the new TV adaptation of The Handmaid’s Tale, BROADCAST has been described as Inception meets Black Mirror for the YouTube generation.

The book received huge international interest at the London Book Fair in April and also with widespread film and TV interest, Legend Press expects to shortly be making further significant deal announcements for BROADCAST.

Lex Hirst, Commissioning Editor, Random House Books said: It’s not often you come across a book that’s as gripping as it is thought-provoking, so I am thrilled to be publishing this stunning novel alongside Lauren Parsons at Legend Press. Liam Brown is a hugely talented young writer with his finger firmly on the pulse, and I’ve no doubt that BROADCAST will take readers by storm.

Lauren Parsons, Commissioning Editor, Legend Press, commented: Liam’s third novel will build on the well-deserved success of this talented young writer. We are delighted that editor Lex Hirst at PRHA shared our huge passion for BROADCAST and we look forward to working together on this very special novel that we are expecting to be talked about for many years to come.
