Are you nearby Glasgow on 1st of August or you are planning to spend some days in one of the greatest city of Scotland in that period? Good for you, because the RAMINGO! knows the kind of events you would enjoy. Do you like football and poetry? Do you like to be part of a group of good fellows around a microphone reading poems about their favourite football teams? So “Mind The Time & The Poets” is the event for you.
The mind behind this event is the poet Jim Mackintosh that decided to create a reading to celebrate both poetry and football along with the pleasure of sharing an evening toghether. Yes – you can say – but when and where? Here’s to you all you need to know to reach the place.
“Mind The Time & The Poets” will start at 7:00 pm and will be located at the Broadcast Café in 427 Sauchiehall Street, G2 3LG Glasgow.
The event will be the hugest huddle ever of contributing poets to Mind The Time reading their work from the book. Subject to International call-ups, unplanned injuries and quite frankly their performance during pre-season training the squad will include: Stephen Watt, Derek Parkes, Graham Fulton, Karyn Dougan, Max Scratchmann, Finola Scott, Stuart A Paterson, Kevin Graham, David Moffat, Andrew McNeil, Ian Hunter, Marie-Therese Taylor, Sheila Templeton and Jim Mackintosh.
